Cooper had another good day. Overnight they did his car seat test and he passed with flying colors. Basically they put him in the seat for an hour to make sure he fits and that his breathing is not affected by the seat. One more step towards coming home. He's also continuing to eat well.
Today Chris' parents and grandparents came to visit. They were here the day he was born but today was the first time they got to hold him. Chris' mom even got to feed him a little. Cooper and Grandpa Fred had a good chat too. I was still feeling a bit wiped out so I didn't go in until his 8pm feeding. Things were a bit stressful because we were testing out some new bottles and Cooper didn't seem to like them very much. Then he got the hiccups in the middle of the feeding. We were relieved to find out when we talked to the nurse that she had put more in the bottle than we had thought and he actually ate almost a full ounce, which is really good. This parent thing is hard.

I hope you were able to bring Cooper home today. The baby thing gets easier but it takes quite a few weeks. Unfortunately, it will probably take longer for you because Cooper is a preemie. Once you start feeling better, it will really help, too. What happened with the breast feeding?
