Week 22: Decorating Fool

Peabo is continuing to grow and grow. According to the weekly email I receive he is 10.9 inches and weighs 1 pound.

Our decorating idea is becoming a reality. I spent the week making the dogs from the picture with craft foam so we can put them on the wall. Chris had the brilliant idea of using magnetic paint to create a border around the room and then using chalkboard paint over top. Then we can just stick the dogs on the wall with magnets. When Peabo is older he can play with magnets and chalk and we can redecorate easier.

Mom came down today and after she cheered on Aunt Carole at the Columbus Marathon we went fabric shopping. We found a quilt panel at JoAnn Fabrics that had dogs similar to the ones I made that were very cute so we bought that and mom is going to sew it together. We also came up with some good ideas for the dust ruffle and curtains. Things are starting to come together.

Congrats to Aunt Carole and Bev for walking the half marathon in 3 hours 18 minutes.
